Our next Taste With the Winemaker at Vermilion Valley Vineyards explores “Balance by Design” — a guided tasting focused on how sugar shapes and interacts with acidity in wine.
Many people think of wines as either sweet or tart, but the truth is they often exist at the same time. In this tasting, we’ll explore how residual sugar can soften, highlight, or even amplify acidity — creating wines that feel bright, balanced, and complex rather than simply sweet.
Taste your way through a curated lineup that shows how sweetness and acidity work together to influence flavor, texture, and finish in the glass.
